Today, 16 February 2024, I delivered a speech to the Southern Area Luncheon Club at The Black Swan Inn, which is located just outside the new constituency boundary into Culgaith.
The purpose of the event was to discuss my journey to becoming the Parliamentary Candidate for Westmorland and Lonsdale. During the speech, I emphasised the importance of turning our seat blue and shared my vision for our home.
I spoke about the need to work together to bring about a brighter future for families and to renew pride in our country.
We talked about strategies to address upcoming challenges this election year and emphasised the importance of solutions aligned with our shared Conservative values.

As your candidate, I am committed to serving the people of Westmorland and Lonsdale, while also supporting all residents of Cumbria.
With a Conservative voice in Westminster, we will be driving investment into the region, tackling rural crime, promoting economic growth and diversification, reducing borrowing, lowering taxes, managing immigration, facilitating an affordable shift to domestic sustainable energy, and creating more opportunities for the younger generation.
