At our recent meeting of the Grange and Cartmel Community Wellbeing Group, updates and work in progress were reported to the Group. These included items from the Community Lunch, Youth project, Wellbeing hub and discussions on the newsletter to go out to all our area later in the year.

I have again been alerted to another on going issue that I need to warn you all about. Fraudsters are sending the public fake TV Licensing emails that are designed to steal their personal and financial information. Since April 2018, Action Fraud has received over 900 crime reports with victims losing hundreds of pounds. So please be aware if you are sent an e-mail you are unsure of do not reply to it and never give out your personal details out to them.
As many will have noticed there have been a number of traffic survey tubes around the Town Centre. These have been placed by County Highways to ascertain information on traffic flow and speeds in and around the Town Centre. The results of the survey and County report will be shared with the Town Council and I will report this hopefully in the June edition.
